The 1923 Texas Longhorns football team was an American football team that represented the University of Texas as a member of the Southwest Conference (SWC) during the 1923 college football season. In their first year under head coach E. J. Stewart, the Longhorns compiled an overall record of 8–0–1 and a mark of 2–0–1 in conference play, and finished second in the SWC.
