NCAA Division I men's tennis championships

The NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship is an annual men's college tennis national collegiate championship sponsored by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for teams in Division I. The tournament crowns a team, individual, and doubles champion. Held every year since 1883, the championship is typically contested in May, and–in recent years–has been held at the same location as the NCAA women's Division I tournaments.

In 1977, a dual-match, single-elimination team championship was initiated, eliminating the points system. • Starting in 2024, individual tournaments for singles/doubles were held in the fall, with team championships in the spring. ==Team titles==
Appearances by team
Before 1977, there was no separate team tournament. The national championship was determined by adding up results in the singles and doubles tournaments. Because detailed year-by-year results are not currently available (''for example, the NCAA Men's Tennis Record Book only shows results for 1977 to present'' ), this table shows results only from the team brackets from 1977 to present.
