Nate Washington. The Patriots forced a fumble by Locker near the Titans goal line and
Dont'a Hightower grabbed the ball and scored. The Patriots behind
Tom Brady's 236 passing yards and 125 rushing yards from
Stevan Ridley won 34–14.
Chris Johnson was limited to just four rushing yards on 11 carries. With the brutally disappointing loss, Tennssee started the season 0-1. This marked their last home loss to New England until
2025.
