2025–26 Sheffield United F.C. season

Prior to the season starting, the club and Chris Wilder mutually agreed to terminate his contract as manager. He was quickly replaced by Rubén Sellés who signed a three-year contract as the manager. Ruben Selles lost his first five games in a row, the worst start in Sheffield United's history and was relieved of his duites on 14 September 2025. On 10 June, Sheffield United announced four pre-season friendlies against York City, Rotherham United, Burton Albion and Chesterfield, along with a training camp in Girona. A behind closed doors fixture against Nice was also added to the schedule. ==Competitions==
