The tournament had two groups of four teams. After round-robin play, the top two teams of each group advanced to the semi-finals. The four semi-finalists also qualified for the
2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. In the knockout stage, if a match was tied at the end of 90 minutes,
extra time was played, and if still tied after extra time, the match would be decided by a
penalty shoot-out (Regulations Article 12.10).
Tiebreakers The ranking of teams in each group was determined as follows (Regulations Article 12.7): •
Points obtained in all group matches; •
Goal difference in all group matches; • Goals scored in all group matches; • Points obtained in the matches played between the teams in question; • Goal difference in the matches played between the teams in question; • Goals scored in the matches played between the teams in question; • Fair play points in all group matches: • Yellow card: −1 point • Indirect red card (second yellow card): −3 points • Direct red card: −4 points • Yellow card and direct red card: −5 points • Drawing of lots. ==Group stage==
