Lifetime Achievement Award Along with Dadasaheb Phalke Award, another one special lifetime achievement award was also given to commemorate the 60th year of Indian Independence. Award was given to veteran actors,
Dilip Kumar and
B. Saroja Devi along with
Lata Mangeshkar.
