Jodi Magness (born September 19, 1956) is an
archaeologist, orientalist, and scholar of religion. She serves as the Kenan Distinguished Professor for Teaching Excellence in Early Judaism at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She previously taught at
Tufts University. • Laetitia La Follette 2020–2022: Laetitia La Follette was elected to a three-year term as chairman of the Archaeological Institute of America. She got her Ph.D. from Harvard, studying classics. She earned a master's degree in art and archaeology and a doctorate from Princeton University and is an associate professor and head of the Department of Art and Architectural History at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She studies the material culture of the ancient Mediterranean and the preservation of its cultural heritage.
