History
The community is home to several churches, including Antioch Baptist Church, the community's namesake, which formed in 1833. The church was once the largest church in Bibb County and was damaged by arsonists in 2006. Though the community was not officially constituted until 1833, Antioch's notoriety comes from being the county seat of Bibb from 1818 until 1830. Remnants of the Woolley School remain on County Road 20. Formerly a one-room schoolhouse with J.C. Hicks as Schoolmaster, the Woolley School is now an abandoned structure that has been vacant for at least 30 years. Antioch appears on the Randolph U.S. Geological Survey Map. ==Demographics==
