Bicoecida (ICZN) or Bicosoecales/Bicoecea (ICBN) is an order of Bikosea, a small group of unicellular flagellates, included among the stramenopiles. Sometimes informally known as bicoecids, they are free-living cells, with no chloroplasts, and in some genera are encased in a lorica.
