Hong Kong activism At 12 years old, Even gained some internet fame when he spoke out against the Chinese government's actions in Hong Kong in 2019. During a Los Angeles Clippers game, Even tricked the Dance Cam and flashed his T-shirt which stated, "Fight for Freedom, Stand up for Hong Kong", in support of the 2019–2020 Hong Kong protests. Following that incident, he appeared at BlizzCon 2019 and yelled "Free Hong Kong". Students for a Free Tibet brought Even on a panel to discuss the situation in Hong Kong. In a 2020 appearance, Shroyer called Even "one of the young stars of the conservative movement". When Elden Ring won Game of the Year, he joined the developers as they walked onstage, and, after they thanked the crowd, announced "I want to thank everybody and say I think I want to nominate this award to my Reformed Orthodox rabbi Bill Clinton.
