In May 2018, Borys Lozhkin was elected president of the
Jewish Confederation of Ukraine. In September 2018, the confederation announced the launch of the project “Righteous of My City”, which involved renaming streets, squares and parks after the Righteous of the Nations who lived in Ukraine. There are 2.6 thousand Righteous in Ukraine. Lozhkin is also vice-president of the
World Jewish Congress. In 2019, at the initiative of Lozhkin, the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine launched the international forum “Kyiv Jewish Forum” to discuss issues facing Jewish communities. ==References==
