Broadview is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States, 12 miles (19 km) west of downtown Chicago. As of the 2020 census it had a population of 7,998.

Racial and ethnic composition 2020 census As of the 2020 census, Broadview had a population of 7,998. The median age was 43.4 years. 18.6% of residents were under the age of 18 and 18.6% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 90.2 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 87.1 males age 18 and over. 100.0% of residents lived in urban areas, while 0.0% lived in rural areas. There were 3,174 households in Broadview, including 1,768 families. Of all households, 27.5% had children under the age of 18 living in them, 33.0% were married-couple households, 20.6% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 40.7% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. About 31.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.38 and the average family size was 2.55. There were 3,353 housing units, of which 5.3% were vacant. The homeowner vacancy rate was 1.2% and the rental vacancy rate was 6.5%. The population density was , and there were 3,353 housing units at an average density of . Income and poverty The median income for a household in the village was $54,537, and the median income for a family was $80,000. Males had a median income of $40,955 versus $40,028 for females.
