Racial and ethnic composition 2020 census As of the
2020 census, Calumet Park had a population of 7,025 and 1,973 families. The population density was , and the housing unit density was . The median age was 42.0 years. 20.8% of residents were under the age of 18 and 19.2% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 86.5 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 82.2 males age 18 and over. There were 2,834 households in Calumet Park, of which 29.5% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 25.8% were married-couple households, 23.0% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 45.7% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. About 32.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. There were 3,074 housing units, of which 7.8% were vacant.
