Calumet Park is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 7,025 at the 2020 census. It is a suburb of Chicago.

History
On May 13, 2010, Mayor Joseph DuPar and the village board approved renaming 127th Street as Obama Drive, in honor of President Barack Obama. On August 21, 2010, State Senator Emil Jones III read a proclamation of the Illinois Senate in honor of the dedication on the same date. This road became the first Obama Drive in the country and the first road named after Obama in Illinois. ==Geography==

The median age was 42.0 years. 20.8% of residents were under the age of 18 and 19.2% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 86.5 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 82.2 males age 18 and over. There were 2,834 households in Calumet Park, of which 29.5% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 25.8% were married-couple households, 23.0% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 45.7% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. About 32.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. There were 3,074 housing units, of which 7.8% were vacant. The homeowner vacancy rate was 2.4% and the rental vacancy rate was 10.4%. The Ashland/Calumet Park station provides Metra commuter rail service along the Blue Island branch of the Metra Electric District line.
