Track Following the completion of the
2016 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, Chinese riders have accumulated spots in both men's and women's team pursuit, and women's team sprint, as well as the women's omnium. As a result of their place in the women's team sprint, China has won the right to enter two riders in both women's sprint and men's keirin. China failed to win a quota place in the men's team sprint, but earned a single place in the men's sprint by virtue of his final individual UCI Olympic rankings in that event.
