Black Saddle, but studio executives thought he was too associated with badman roles and chose
Peter Breck for the lead role. While filming the pilot, Alcaide injured his back in a fall causing permanent damage to his back that bothered him for years. From 1972 to 1985, Alcaide ran a photography studio named "Peri's Pictures" in
