Christ Church, Higher Bebington

Christ Church is in King's Road, Higher Bebington, Wirral, Merseyside, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Wirral, North, the archdeaconry of Chester, and the diocese of Chester. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

History
Christ Church was built between 1857 and 1859, and designed by Walter Scott. The foundation stone was laid on 1 August 1857, and the church was consecrated by the Rt Revd John Graham, bishop of Chester on 24 December 1859. The steeple was added in 1884–85, but the tip of the spire was lost in 1980. ==Architecture==
