In the 2025 World Figure Skating Championships in Boston, the United States, Japan secured three quota in men's singles, three quota in women's singles, and one quota in pair skating. Japan earned an additional quota in pairs at the ISU Skate to Milano Figure Skating Qualifier 2025 in Beijing, China. Furthermore, Japan qualified to the team event.
