Customs Public School

Customs Public School, or CPS, was established in 1982 through the joint efforts of Pakistan Customs and Central Excise Lahore. It is a private school located in Gulberg, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The school offers primary education, secondary education, matriculation, and British systems of education, including GCE. Admission is granted based on an entrance test and an interview. CPS has a Junior Branch, a Boys' Branch, and a Girls' Branch. The school is recognized by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore, and is considered one of the most prestigious institutions in Lahore.

History

Established by Pakistan Customs in 1982 and inaugurated by Mian Nazir Azhar, Customs collector Lahore Division at that time, as an English school. Customs Public School is one of pioneer institutes for the Cambridge regulated international GCE programs in Lahore. Customs Public School also provided lunch, stationery and transportation for free to all students till 2012 when the school was hit by a financial crisis. == Branches ==

Branches

Customs Public School operates three branches, located at 52-A, Main Gulberg Lahore. The Junior Branch, also known as School No. 1, is staffed with a team of experts in education who provide guidance to children from Nursery to Class IV. This branch is dedicated to guiding children towards a future career path that is best suited to their aptitude. The Boys Wing, or School No. II, provides coaching services for boys from Class V to Class X in the Matriculation Stream, as well as for both boys and girls in O Levels. Co-curricular activities
