As a youth player, Banjaqui joined the
youth academy of
Real. Following his stint there, he joined the youth academy of
Benfica in 2018. On 17 December 2025, Banjaqui made his debut for Benfica's senior team, coming on as a substitute for the final minutes of a 2–0 victory over
Farense in the
Taça de Portugal. On 25 January 2026, he made his
Primeira Liga debut, starting in a 4–0 victory over
Estrela da Amadora, where he assisted fellow debutant
Anísio Cabral for the final goal of the match. ==International career==
