Dora the Explorer: Barnyard Buddies is the first video game based on the show for the home consoles as it was released for the
PlayStation in the U.S. in 2003. It was not released in Europe until 2005, when it became one of the last games released for that platform in the region. This coincided with the decline in PlayStation production and the end of development for other PS1 games the following year.
