Linguistics
Dyadic conversational interaction is the dynamics between two particular people, in which eye contact is important and the speaker controls the interaction. According to Ghil'ad Zuckermann, Western conversational interaction is typically both "dyadic" and "contained" (in a relatively short, defined time frame). For example, if one asks a question, one expects to receive an answer immediately thereafter. On the other hand, traditional Aboriginal conversational interaction is not "dyadic" but rather "communal" (broadcast to many people, eye contact is not important, the listener controls the interaction) and "continuous" (spread over a longer, indefinite time frame). For example, if one asks a question, one should not expect an immediate answer. --> ==Mathematics==
