Mark William Philip Cunliffe-Lister, 4th Earl of Swinton (born 15 September 1970), is the son of the 3rd Earl and his wife Elizabeth Susan Whitelaw, eldest daughter of William Whitelaw. He was styled as Lord Masham between 2006 and 2021. A geophysicist with a degree in engineering from Durham University, he converted the family seat, Swinton Park, into a luxury hotel. On 21 March 2021, Cunliffe-Lister succeeded his father as Earl of Swinton, Viscount Swinton, of Masham, and Baron Masham. On 17 June 2000, he married Felicity C.
