Due to an overwhelming response and requests from various stakeholders for more building space since the existing one has been completely occupied, Tamil Nadu Government has decided to construct one more IT Building next to the existing one. Tenders for the construction were called by Public Works Department during August 2020 at a cost of . The new building will be a 4-storey building with total floor space of which is office space.
