Eucalyptus kondininensis is a tree that typically grows to a height of and usually forms a
lignotuber although some specimens lack a lignotuber and are
mallets. The bark on at least half of the trunk is rough, hard, black and flaky, the bark above smooth, grey and white. Young plants and
coppice regrowth have stems that are more or less square in cross-section and lance-shaped leaves that are long and wide. Adult leaves are arranged alternately, glossy green, lance-shaped, long and wide, tapering to a
petiole long. The flower buds are arranged in leaf axils in groups of seven on an unbranched
peduncle long, the individual buds more or less
sessile. Flowering occurs between December and July and the flowers are white. The fruit is a woody, cup-shaped to conical
capsule long and wide with the valves near rim level. The seeds are glossy, reddish brown, flattened oval and long. ==Taxonomy==
