On January 26, 2023, Fox announced that Family Guy had been renewed for a twenty-second and twenty-third season while ensuring that the series will last another two years. Family Guy moved from Sunday nights to Wednesday nights beginning on March 6, 2024. This season is one of the shortest of the series at only fifteen episodes.
