Building The church was built in 1856. The main entrance door was enlarged to accommodate horses, and the
brickwork around the doorway gives evidence of the repairs that were later made to restore the building. The congregation filed a damage claim with the
United States federal government, The building was added to the
National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The Presbytery of Middle Tennessee agreed to dismiss the congregation and to allow the congregation to retain its name and property. ==References==
