Frederick George Hoblitzell was a Liberal party member of the House of Commons of Canada. He was born in Rahway, New Jersey, United States, moved to Canada in 1912 and became president and managing director of Anglo Petroleum Ltd. He was also known as a champion amateur golfer in Ontario.
