List of encyclopedias in Hungarian

The following list attempts to collect the major encyclopedias written in Hungarian, either independently or in reverse chronological order. Although most encyclopedias are published alphabetically, some biographical collections use chronological order, and church hagiographic biographies now often present biographies in the order of individual days of the calendar year. The following tables do not include non-alphabetical (thematic) Hungarian encyclopedias.
