Gary Mauer is an American theatre actor who most recently starred in the third national tour of The Phantom of the Opera playing the role of The Phantom. On Broadway, Gary has starred as Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny in The Phantom of the Opera from 1996 to 2001 and as Enjolras in Les Misérables from 1995 to 1996. From 30 April 2007 through 19 May 2007, Gary filled in for Howard McGillin as The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway.
