General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises

The General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises is a Moroccan employers' organization founded in 1947. It represents private-sector businesses and serves as an interlocutor between employers, public authorities and social partners in Morocco.

History
CGEM was created in 1947 to represent employers and business interests. From the late 1960s, it was restructured and gradually integrated national business groups, expanding its role within the Moroccan private sector. Since the 2000s, CGEM has played a more visible role in economic governance, particularly through social dialogue with trade unions and the government. It is also involved in discussions on investment, employment and business regulation. == Mission ==
Mission
CGEM represents Moroccan companies of different sizes and sectors and advocates for measures intended to improve the business environment.
