Inauguration ceremony On September 15, 2023, the Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC) held a team inauguration ceremony in Tokyo in the presence of Prince and Princess Akishino. About 720 people from a total of 1,137 delegates, including 771 players and 366 managers and coaches, excluding players participating in overseas training camps, attended the ceremony.
