The Rainbow Warriors, led by 15th-year head coach Charlie Wade, played their home matches at the Stan Sheriff Center on the UH campus in the Honolulu neighborhood of Mānoa. The Rainbow Warriors, members of the Big West Conference, were picked near the top of the Big West preseason coaches poll, with Long Beach State favored to win the conference. Hawaiʻi entered the 2024 season as a national contender and recent NCAA champion, having won back-to-back national titles in 2021 and 2022.
