Henry Robert Kingscote was the second son of Thomas Kingscote (b. 9 Dec 1757, d. 15 Apr 1811) and Harriet Peyton, fourth daughter of
Sir Henry Peyton. He married Harriett Elizabeth Tower, daughter of Christopher Thomas Tower, on 11 July 1833, and had 6 sons and 5 daughters.
