Results breakdown of the 1931 Spanish general election

The election to the Constituent Cortes was held in Spain on 28 June 1931, with subsequent rounds being held in order to fill vacant seats from July to October. The following tables gives the detailed results in each of the 63 constituencies.

Electoral system
The electoral law of May 1931 replaced the previous single-member constituencies with much larger multi-member ones based on Spain's 50 provinces with cities larger than 100.000 inhabitants becoming constituencies (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, Seville, Zaragoza, Málaga, Córdoba, Granada, Cartagena and Murcia) as well as Ceuta and Melilla, making a total of 63 constituencies. The Senate was abolished and so the Cortes became unicameral. There would be one seat for every 50,000 people. The votes each voter was entitled to cast were 75%-80% of the seats at stake in the constituency. For a candidate to be elected in the first round of voting they needed, at least, 20% of votes cast. If this was not achieved, vacant seats were filled through a second round. Another round of voting was carried out on 4 October 1931 in order to fill vacancies created as a result of a lawmaker being chosen in different constituencies. As a result of the aforementioned allocation, each Congress multi-member constituency was entitled the following seats: == Nationwide ==
