Holderbank is a municipality in the district of Thal in the canton of Solothurn in Switzerland.

Holderbank has an area, , of . Of this area, or 44.3% is used for agricultural purposes, while or 49.5% is forested. Of the rest of the land, or 6.2% is settled (buildings or roads), or 0.4% is either rivers or lakes. Of the built up area, housing and buildings made up 3.2% and transportation infrastructure made up 2.6%. Out of the forested land, 47.0% of the total land area is heavily forested and 2.4% is covered with orchards or small clusters of trees. Of the agricultural land, 3.2% is used for growing crops and 29.8% is pastures and 10.7% is used for alpine pastures. All the water in the municipality is flowing water. The municipality is located in the Thal district, in a longitudinal valley between the first and second Jura mountain chains near the Oberer Hauenstein Pass.
