Racial and ethnic composition 2020 census As of the
2020 census, Homer Glen had a population of 24,543. The median age was 44.7 years. 21.7% of residents were under the age of 18 and 20.7% were age 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 98.3 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 97.4 males age 18 and over. There were 8,503 households, of which 32.5% had children under age 18 living in them. Of all households, 72.0% were married-couple households, 10.0% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 15.1% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present.
