Racial and ethnic composition 2020 census As of the
2020 census, the county had a population of 99,956. The median age was 37.7 years. 23.8% of residents were under the age of 18 and 15.8% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 97.4 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 95.0 males age 18 and over. The racial makeup of the county was 70.6%

Hispanic or Latino residents of any race comprised 19.7% of the population. There were 36,076 households in the county, of which 33.7% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 52.0% were married-couple households, 17.8% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 24.1% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. Of the 28,742 households, 32.9% had children under 18 living with them, 56.2% were married couples living together, 11.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.6% were not families; 24.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.6% had someone living alone who was 65 or older. The average household size was 2.60 and the average family size was 3.08. In the county, the population was distributed as 26.5% under 18, 10.0% from 18 to 24, 28.0% from 25 to 44, 22.8% from 45 to 64, and 12.6% who were 65 or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females, there were 98.10 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.30 males. The median income for a household in the county was $36,752, and for a family was $44,388. Males had a median income of $33,347 versus $23,085 for females. The
