Jean Prosper Laurent was a French footballer. He played as a defender or midfielder. He was the elder brother of Lucien Laurent, and they both took part at the 1930 FIFA World Cup He made eight appearances for the France national team.
Club career
Laurent started his career at CA Paris in 1921. He then played for Club français for the 1932–33 season. Laurent then went to US Saint-Malo for one year, in 1933–34. From 1934 to 1937, he played for Rennes. Laurent got his first cap on 11 May 1930 against Czechoslovakia. but did not play any match of the tournament. He got his eighth and last cap on 12 June 1932 against Romania. ==Coaching career==
