Grêmio's youth sides in 2017, aged ten. On 17 December 2022, he signed his first professional contract with the club, agreeing to a three-year deal. Jeferson struggled with injuries in the following years, but still renewed his link until 2027 on 14 December 2025, after fully recovering. He was promoted to the first team ahead of the 2026 season, and made his professional debut on 21 January of that year, coming on as a second-half
