Population At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of
Kelardasht District in
Chalus County) was 8,460 in 2,398 households. There were 3,083 inhabitants in 978 households at the following census of 2011, by which time the rural district had been renamed Kelardasht-e Sharqi Rural District. The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 3,746 in 1,282 households, when the district had been transformed into
