Kendall Park was listed as an unincorporated community in the
1970 U.S. census; The median age was 42.2 years. 22.8% of residents were under the age of 18 and 13.6% were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females, there were 95.6 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.2 males age 18 and over. There were 3,233 households, of which 39.6% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 68.9% were married-couple households, 9.9% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 17.9% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. About 15.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The median income for a household in the CDP was $74,438, and the median income for a family was $82,324. Males had a median income of $59,955 versus $40,146 for females. The
