Ketemarae Pa
Located near Normanby is Ketemarae Pa, a local historic centre for Maori settlement. It is an entry point for the Whakaahurangi track to Kairoa Pa, near Lepperton. This track linked northern and southern Taranaki before British settlement. The site includes the meeting houses of Kumea Mai te Waka and Te Manawanui, and is a meeting place for the Ngāti Ruanui hapū of Araukūku. In October 2020, the Government committed $1,479,479 from the Provincial Growth Fund to renovate Meremere Marae, Ketemarae Pā, Pariroa Marae and Taiporohēnui Marae, creating 35 jobs. ==Education==
