Turner joined the
University of Richmond as a
walk-on in 2018. He played at Richmond from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, he was named the
CAA Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Overall, he played in 37 games with 27 starts and recorded 158 tackles and 15 sacks. After graduating from Richmond with degrees in music and mathematics, Turner transferred to
Wake Forest University in 2022. He finished the year with 38 tackles and two sacks. ==Professional career==
