Stéphanie Caroline Anne Syms, Lady Edward FitzGerald was the wife of Lord Edward FitzGerald, the radical revolutionary and leading United Irishman, and was herself an enthusiastic supporter of Irish independence, scarcely less celebrated at the time than her husband.
