Emily Somerset, Lady Raglan

Emily Harriet Somerset, Lady Raglan (1792–1881) was a British aristocrat and political hostess. She was the wife of the English general Lord Raglan, best known for his command of British forces during the Crimean War.

Cultural depictions
In 1814 she was painted by Thomas Lawrence, the leading portraitist of the Regency era, as a wedding present from her husband. The work is now in the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg. ==References==
