Lavandula canariensis is a half-hardy, woody, evergreen shrub. The leaves are
bipinnate, rich green, and covered in fine, downy hairs. Flowers appear in spikes of small, fragrant blue, opening from dark purple buds, and are borne on branching stems in summer.
