He reached the last-16 competing for Australia at the
2022 World Taekwondo Championships in
Guadalajara. In 2022, he won gold at both the Oceania Championships and Tahiti Open. He won the bronze medal in the
Men's lightweight division at the
2023 World Taekwondo Championships in
Baku in June 2023, defeating reigning world champion
Daniel Quesada in the last 16 before he was beaten in the semi-finals by Croatia's eventual winner
Marko Golubić. In April 2024, at the Oceania Taekwondo Qualifying tournament, he secured a place at the
2024 Olympic Games in
