Lew Freedman is a sportswriter and former sports editor of the Anchorage Daily News in Alaska and The Republic in Columbus, Indiana. He has worked on the staffs of the Chicago Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer, and Florida Times-Union, and has authored numerous books.
