2020 census, the county had a population of 128,610. Of the residents, 21.9% were under the age of 18 and 19.9% were 65 years of age or older; the median age was 40.4 years. For every 100 females there were 97.8 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 95.5 males. 65.8% of residents lived in urban areas and 34.2% lived in rural areas.
