Grevillea lissopleura is an erect shrub that typically grows to a height of . Its leaves are linear, long and wide, the edges rolled under almost to the midvein. The flowers are arranged in erect,
sessile clusters on the ends of branches or in upper leaf axils on a woolly-hairy
rachis long. The flowers are white to cream-coloured, silky- to woolly-hairy on the outside, the
pistil long. Flowering has been recorded in August and the fruit is an oval
